simple. hit the ball softer. No, really, you can control distance by controlling trajectory. If you have a hard time controlling distance with the 56 degree, try hitting a soft 52. It will go lower and because the bounce is less, it is easier to hit it soft without the club bouncing off the turf and hitting the ball thin. Try new thing and keep it simple.

My swing thoughts:

- Negative thinking hurts more than negative swinging.
- I let my swing balance me.
- Full extension back and through to the target. - I swing under not around my body. - My club must not twist in my swing. - Keep a soft left knee

I saw that TGC The Fix episode with Faldo too. But not only did he talk about 9 o'clock, 10 o'clock, etc. But I thought his best advice was to take your sand, hit some full shots. Then switch to your pitch and work on hitting it the same distance as your full sand. Then do the same with your 9, then your 8. That seems an awesome way to work on the feel for partial shots, and something I'm gonna start incorporating at the range!
