I can hit a short par 4 green with a driver, . I can't hit a green with a wedge from 50 yards, .

I am thinking I will be spending A LOT of time on distance wedges and pitching from now on. #GlaringWeakness

That and my putting from 5 feet and in. Missed about 4 of those the other evening. Might have been not putting in 4 days and going from 10-11 STIMP to maybe at best a 9 STIMP. I as over-reading the greens big time. Then it got in my head.

I am feeling good with my long game right now.

I've been experimenting with rolling (for lack of a better word) my right shoulder and upper arm on the downswing to generate more speed to my right forearm, wrist and club head.

It worked so well yesterday that I hit through a dogleg about 40 past my average driver distance. It's a bitch to control, but my hopes are that it will help with direction as well as distance if/when I dial it in. On average, I'm likely getting an extra 10 yards but haven't measured anything with GPS yet.

    • Yesterday - Weightlifting Today - One set of super light weight lifting, focus on muscle movement in full range of motion and activation. Then followed by stretching.
    • Day 5: 30 Mar Repeat of yesterday - plenty of takeaway drills to try and make a deep turn part of my normal game. Added ~20mins of indoor putting practice to finish.
    • Rose Zhang is going to have a 5 shot lead going into the final round at Augusta on Saturday. The way the broadcast is set up, you could only see 3 holes, but it was an impressive 3 holes. She has the lowest round for each day so far. Really hard to see her losing it. If she shoots even par, the woman in second has to shoot 66 to beat Rose. Good luck with that.
    • Day 9: Today was about 45 minutes of swinging. Going from just drill swings to over exaggerating rehearsals and then full swings. I think at times I need to just take an athletic swing and let the body move as it’s been rehearsing.    worked on set up and alignment today as well. More or less just checking things off. Today was a good day….
    • Damn…that’s a shame. I can see maybe overlooking the rules sheet at Mr. Toad’s 9 hole extravaganza…..but Augusta? Good of her to own it though.
