I love the putting green and practice on it daily.

Uttexas it seems like you have had this since April and have been practicing everyday. Has your putting improved and if so by how much? Do you have trouble adjusting to a green that has a significantly different speed than your practice green? How often do you change the slope of the green and how difficult is it to do? In any case that looks like a lot of fun and I would have it lit up like a baseball stadium for night practice.

Sorry for all the questions but I am sure I am not the only one that is curious.

That is awesome.

Except now the putting concoction I'm putting in my basement doesnt seem nearly as cool :(

Oh well, an outdoor one wouldnt help me much in winter anyway.

Having the putting green at home has really helped my putting overall, especially my distance control (feel).

Our stereoscopic vision enables us to see the line pretty well. It's the distance or how hard to hit the ball that we usually have trouble with.

MMouse, if you are looking to install an indoor putting green, this opens up a variety of other products that are a bit cheaper. The brand I purchased is designed for indoor and outdoor use.

Just froogle.com search indoor putting green to see your options. you can then search by price.

this company http://www.starprogolf.com/kits.htm offers an affordable product. The thing I didn't like, was that it doesn't come on a platform. So, you either use their star hole design (didn't like it), or core a hole in the floor or outdoors.

Mad Max--I don't have much difficulty adjusting. Not sure what the stimp meter is on my home green, but is about average muni speed. It is slower than some of the private club greens I've been invited to.

To adjust the slope, I just lift up the platform and add or take away mulch that I put underneath it.

I have installed some solar lights around the green. I can putt at night with friends. I don't have any powerful lights outside, so putting at dark is still more challenging.

Oooh, that is really nice bgsw. That must be real grass. I didn't have the budget for the tools (special mowers and rollers) nor the time for the maintenance that is required for real grass greens.

Thanks Uttexas, I don't think I have the space for this living in a dense city but it would be great for a vacation cabin my family owns. If I had this I would be a much better putter while inebriated.
