How big is your driver?

I'm playing the 983K, and it measures 365cc IIRC. I will be looking to move to the 905 when it's available, though, as my misses are sometimes higher on the clubface and the deeper face will help, I believe. 460cc just seems like a balloon/toaster/take-your-pick to me.

Then again, I'm still trying to get used to having to tee the ball up so high. My previous driver was the Titleist PT 9.5 . Not sure what the head size is on that thing, but it's gotta be something like 180cc or so. On the plus side, I did hit it off the fairway a few times quite successfully.

Yonex Vmass 350+ = 350cc. Just right!

We have some Ping G2s and Callaway 454s in the shop, and these things are far beyond way too big.

The driver I use is 390cc, a TM R510. But I've been trying out a 450cc driver at the driving range recently and I've been impressed, although I don't think it's an earth-moving change.

Personally, I prefer a head shape over size. I think any player with a consistant, repeating swing can benefit from a deep face driver (which is what most of the 450cc+ drivers are). With greater center of gravity along with a concentrated area of maximum COR you can achieve greater ball speed with far less spin than drivers with flatter faces. I definately feel they're worth a try, and the deep face drivers look a lot more svelte than you may think.

I'm currently using the SMT455 deep bore. The one driver that has come close to knocking it out of my bag is the wishon 515. I've now found my preference to be with big headed drivers. This year wishon is coming out with a 440 cc 515. The great thing about this driver head is that, is uses technology called graduated roll. I virtually has no roll on the face and whether you hit it high or low on the face, it gives you the same launch trajectory every time.
