My name is Kiran, and I'm a clubaholic.

After hearing so much about Yes! putters I went and bought a Yes Tracy II yesterday. I saw it at a local store, it was fairly inexpensive ($140), and I was nailing everything on the faux green in the store.

Today I got to try it out on the real practice green at my course. At address, it looks identical to my SC newport 2. However, the head's a bit heavier and it doesn't feel quite as well balanced as the SC. The grip is a stunning white, yellow, and black number from Winn which feels pretty nice. The putter also comes with a nice white headcover.

The important part is how this putter rolls the rock. Long, short, and everything in between I was amazed. The putter was super accurate and did everything I asked it to. I really believe in the concentric rings on the putter face which grip the ball and get it rolling rather than skidding much better than a plain milled face. While this isn't a uge deal on short putts, it makes all the difference in the world on long ones.

I think these putters are definatley worth a try. I'm definately taking the Cameron out of my bag for now and if the Yes! performs as well on course as it did on the putting green, I've found a new putter!

Which model did you get? They seem to have only one mallet, and as a mallet guy (not by much, I just think they're easier to line up), that's not so good. Their mallet didn't have a nice looking alignment aid (a triangle?) either... so which did you get? The Tracy II?

Yeah, I got the Tracy II, I'll edit my post and make that a little more clear.

Marilyn almost qualifies. Victoria's a mallet. The other two, they're part of the new genre of "freak mallets." All those weird MOI type putters. Ick. I may be non-traditionalist enough to go with a mallet, but not so non-traditional that I want to look down a putter with holes in it.

I'm with you, I'm much more of a traditionalist, although I did have great success with the

Odyssey 2-ball , and the MacGregor V-Foil is all the rage on tour these days.

I'm a bit of a traditionalist too, but let's face it, I think if we all found something that worked incredibly well and shaved 5 strokes off our average, I think we would all say "tradition be damned"...

What about the Valerie, Hannah and Olivia? I'm in the same boat as you not wanting to see something that looks like it belongs in F1 (Taylormade I'm looking at you) when I putt. I had a Yes! Valerie for a while, it was nice but I figured out that I prefer blade putters.

think those are newer models since the original postings 4 years ago

I just got the Tracy II - mallets broke my heart so i've gone back to the blade. 5 rounds in - i'm delighted. Cost me EUR 108 on ebay from the States - they'r'e retailing EUR 179 here. Just got standard lie and length, getting it fitted next week.

Looking forward to rolling in a few putts with it!

The Olivia model is about as mallet as they come.

Sets up very simular to the old Zebra putters.

Great stick....I love the fact that I can adjust the weights (came with wrench and 3 sets) as things change on my home course....greens will hopefully begin rolling pure and fast again very....very soon.

A buddy gave me an old ProGear C-Groove II yesterday, he won it a few years ago at a tournament, called it a "Yes! knockoff". It is like the original Tracy Yes! putter. I am now in love with the way this thing rolls.

    • I'd find a free fitting, take your clubs, and see what you can see. For example, we have a PXG fitter come to our academy every Tuesday, and he's great about sharing info about why he's having you hit a certain shaft or clubhead or something. And… if you don't see much of a change, skip it.
    • Day 1 (3 Apr 25) - Restarting the routine after a 4 day quick trip.  Got back in the groove today for some swings of the 6i and driver into the net -‘to just warm the muscles a little.  Wrapped up the day with grandson hitting 20-25 yd pitches in the backyard.  Love watching his swing and also his concept of course management, to hear him say he left himself in a good position to finish (good words from a soon to be 9 yr old)….
    • Day 185 - 2025-04-03 Had a good 2.5 hour session at Golf Evolution. Kinda glad it was still wet and windy out today as I wouldn't have gotten such a good session in if I played. Got up to 93 MPH (with a pause) on my 6I and 130 MPH ball speed (on a different slightly slower hit, a bit more de-lofted than I'll want eventually).
    • I'm highly probable for the entire weekend, thanks for doing the hard work to set it up.  I can't wait for more details.
    • I take 2nd, is a confirmation that you can eventually win your major and also is good material for having a laugh about it in the distant future.
