So I was at the driving range today, very hot day in south florida. I was primarily concentrated on my driver and 3w. I took out my Taymol Made Burner Driver hit my first ball, about 270 down the middle, with slight draw. Hit my second shot, about 260, slight right. I hit my third shot, about 150 yards sliced it lamost turned back like a bomerang! I set up for my 4th shot, my head was 45* off....it had just twisted.!!! I adjusted it again, hit another drive same result as the third...

I went to golf galaxy, and they are sending my driver back to TM.

So I was just ondering if anyone had anything similar and how did the manufacturer react to request for repair.

2 Weeks without play, and the worst part is that I just sold my old driver...for $20 bucks!!! NUTZ!
It's the indian, not the arrow! But it sure is nice to have good arrows!!!!!

I've had it happen on irons. I just used a torch to heat up the hosel. The old epoxy turned to ash. Used a wire brush to clean inside the hosel, then epoxied the head back on, making sure I had the grip centered correctly. This happened to my 5-iron years ago and it's held up great. I used hardware store 2 part epoxy.

I'm down to a 10 handicap. At this rate, I'll get to scratch at 90 years old!

The epoxy that holds the shaft on came undone. In the future, don't just twist it back and hit it - the head could fly off down the range or sideways and hit someone.

I once had a 4i head come off on a tee shot. It went about as far as the ball. I also had a different 4i shaft (graphite) snap right at the hosel on a silly little punch shot, not even a half swing.

True...I was not sure what had happened, I tiwsted and fell back in place, what seemed to be pretty tight. Now I know for the next time...

Same happened to my 6 iron on Tuesday at the range.

Last year I bought a hybrid and after about 9 months of use the shaft snapped right at the clubhead taking part of the head with it too(the metal part of the hosel was damaged). I was pretty angry and brought it back to where I got it. They decided they would give me a free reshafting of another club for me, but wouldn't/couldn't fix my hybrid or replace it.

I haven't been back to that store, which shall remain unnamed.

Unfortunately I wasn't at the range at the time, I was playing against some friends and it disintegrated on my second shot of a par 5.

Same club (6i), same place (range), different situation. My shaft snapped about a third of the way up from the club head. Funniest part was that it stuck in the ground like a little flag!

I have had them both snap and just come loose and fall off. I once had a putter come unglued about 3 holes into my first round with it. This was back in 93 or so. I do not recall what type putter it was (something in the style of an Anser) but I remember being upset enough about it that I traded it in a bought an S2H2 blade putter that I ended up keeping for nearly 10 years. I loved that putter.

I tried to muscle a PW in the rain last year. The club slid out of my hands and took an arc and landed straight up and down on the head. I thought it was fine until the top half of the shaft fell off, then the rest of the club fell over. It was actually one of the cooler things I've seen.

Your trunk is a solar reactor, especially in Florida. I has some bad epoxy and had a head come off. I put some golfsmith epoxy on and no more problems. I would have cleaned up the epoxy and applied a new batch.

My 4i's head came right off.. but they were older irons I think i might have hit it off the ground or something harder then usual because it never happened to the other irons that wer used more frequently...
