RIGHT NOW . If that is this poll and argument in this thread, Phil is better RIGHT NOW , but not necesarily a better golfer overall, since Tiger has had 8 weeks of break/ grieving to contend with. If Tiger and Phil are to be judged now, the only indicator we have is by recent performance, and in this case, Phil mopped the floor with him.

I think Tiger is better he plays good all around and he has won more majors than Phil. Phils good but tigers just a natural.

I actually think Phil may have more (or at least as much) god-given physical talent for the game than Tiger -- but Tiger has more dedication/work-ethic and a better golfing mind.

You noticed that too? Did you see in the interviews leading up to the US Open when a reporter asked Phil if the locals had seen him around town. If it was a match between them right now at this very moment, I believe it would be a battle of the mentally unfit.

With Tigers dad recently dying, he's in no better mental shape than Phil is with the loss @ Winged Foot.

I think they'd both play like crap if you pinned them head to head right now.

As for overall talent and mental strength, Tiger wins hands down. He doesn't choke under the pressure. And is overall a better physical player as well.
