again, not necessarily. if you can control a regular flex shaft, then you should use a regular flex shaft. use the whippiest shaft that you can CONTROL

i heard from someone here that from a mizuno fitting trailer they told him always err on the stiff side

I think that is a good idea because a stiffer shaft should give more control at the expense of a slight loss of distance. I think the too-soft/pull too-stiff/slice is a myth. When i had a regular shafted driver I was all over the place, duck hooks to huge slices. Now with a stiff the misses still happen but the degree of miss is much less pronounced, although on perfectly struck shots I have maybe lost 5 yards or so. It may be somewhat mental but the stiff shaft just gives me a lot more confidence that I can swing away without worrying about hitting a snap hook.

    • Posted a couple swings here. I think my attempt to blend the movement still results in a more “around” back swing?
    • I never heard dislike for them.  From my perspective, they are just like any other club. Though, they were always probably over-priced, until recently as other club manufacturers have been raising prices the past 5+ years. You had to wait for them to go on sale, which you can get them closer to other club manufacturers.  They sell good clubs. Nothing crazy..
    • Why do so many people dislike PXG clubs and constantly criticize them? All the folks at my club and especially online, I never hear good things about them except from people who bought them and defend them. They look fine to me but curious is there some sort of quality issue or is it just stereotyping the buyers.
    • I have the LM1 launch monitor and I’ve been very impressed. I agree with your assessment and it’s very accurate for me and ease of use is wonderful. The price point of $199 is very hard to beat with this form factor and performance. I was previously using a PRGR.
