I hit a 74 degree that someone had bent and filed the sole down so it would be flat on the ground. You could take a 3/4 swing and walk a few steps and catch the ball. I cant even imagine a 80 degree. It would be a joke.

This is the club missing from everybody's golf bag. This will help any golfer lower their score. It's 80-degrees design lets you cut under the ball from any lie and hit high lobs to go right for the flag. Use it from 30 yards in and save 5 strokes per round.

wat???? lol.

No thanks...I don't think an 80* wedge will make it into my bag anytime soon.

I've having a hard enough time thinking about giving up my 5 wood or 3 iron for a 58*.

Save 5 strokes off your game?!? Laughable.

I'm like the OP...i'd be scared to hit a full swing for fear of missing teeth shortly thereafter

You have to scroll down and look at Jack "The Gimmick" Hamms weird idea for a sand wedge. When your designing equipment that makes the Alien Wedge (remember those?!) look conventional how far from the pack have you strayed?

How about the Air Wedge right below it? What a freak. The sad thing is, there are people that are buying those things as we speak.

It's a silly gimmick club. No disrespect for anyone who bought one; it makes for fun conversation.

There's no way that's true. Does the site actually say this? I have a tough time believing a guy could hit a 5 iron farther than guys on tour hit their drivers. But, he is the Hammer for a reason.

And the 80* wedge. Someone went a little overboard in the R&D; department. They'll make a 90* wedge eventually and someone will buy it. And I hope I'm not the only one who would buy the wedge if it were like $20. I think it would be funny as hell just to see and use once in a while.
