anyone tried the precept ev extra spin ball lately

Im trying to save some money and saw where you can get a 15 pack for 15 bucks. I doubt they are as good as the top tier balls, but can anyone give some feedback on them?

The new ones probably aren't very good but the older 90s versions were THE BEST balls I ever played.

Nick Price and many other pros have won many tournaments with the older version. The new version is different I think.

I haven't tried the new ones, but in my opinion, the Precept U-Tri extra spin was the best value ball on the market. Poor man's Pro V1.

And the Laddie X is streets ahead of anything else, value for money wise.

Ditto. I bought about 10 boxes of U Tri Tours on clearance. Great golf balls, IMO. I haven't tried any other Precept balls, but I also hear the Laddie X is a good bang for the buck.

about 5 minutes ago the UPS guy showed up with my 5 dozen AAAAA rating laddie X balls that i got for a total of $14.75 from lostgolfballs.com ! great condition, they all appear to be new, cant wait to try them out...

      God I hate when golf can’t give me n+1 day of success. Drives me up the wall when my body is, FU! Im like, ok let’s check the vid. Yep too much turn, arms getting behind me. Ok, I work on that. Get the feel back for a shorter swing. Confirm with video. Then going back to arms down stuff.  Arms down, nope it’s hands out towards the ball. Oh, you get arms down better. Guess what, you don’t get to rotate and you hit 6 inches behind the ball. Yay!  Maybe I should have walked off the range and not wasted my time. I wish there was a body alert system when it’s going to a SOB for the day. 😭 OK rant over, I’ll be back at this tomorrow.

      I mean there has to be some thought. For eg., something like 'soft knees and wrists' at set up and maybe a dynamic 'left arm to chin' as a trigger to start DS. I have these one or two anchor thoughts and have served me well. In fact, my wildest swings are the one where I have no thoughts or if I forget to walk thru my anchor thoughts. In contrast my best rounds are where I am consistent with the anchor thoughts.    OTOH, if I am running my entire half hour lesson (hypothetical) with some pro that I had last Saturday or whatever before every swing then I'm probably in trouble before I even get over the ball.

      Two bits. Bit 1 The NCAA's appeal of Brendan Sorsby being granted a temporary injunction will not be heard until February, so there will be nothing to prevent Sorsby from playing the full season and potential CFP.  Bit 2 The Big Ten Conference will hold a meeting and is expected to ban all of its athletic programs from playing Texas Tech in the regular season. Georgia has done the same. The SEC will meet to consider a similar ban. Fellow Big 12 members TCU and Kansas State are spearheading a similar ban, but the conference charter might not allow it. Meanwhile, Big 12 athletic directors are meeting this week to explore what options the conference might have.

      No, but I'm also in disagreement that golfers have no thoughts over the golf ball, and/or don't ever think I've met someone I truly believe is thinking nothing but "target" or something on most shots.
