I saw Jacqueline Gagne do it...er..never mind.

Best hole in one I've ever see was at the 8th hole at Inn of the Mountain Gods in Ruidoso, NM - long, downhill par 3 in 2001 in my last collegiate tournament. A guy I was playing with from Midland JC (actually played with him in high school as well) hit one (I lost sight of the ball, but he started going nuts when it went in. I thought it was a pretty cool thing to see, but he wasn't worth a s**t the next day because he pulled a John Daly that night (I don't blame him, I'd probably do the same thing).

I have seen close.

Playing in a captain's choice tournament a few years ago, a guy in our group aces number 4, a 152 yard par 3 with waterin front and left. In our same group, another guy hit to 6 inches on number 13. From the tee it looked like it went in. I am sure someone would have called BS if we turned in a scorecard with 2 aces on it.

Apparently, Kim Jong Il got 5 aces the first time he golfed... lol

I wonder what the statistical probability is of seeing 2 aces in a row.

Working at a fundraising golf tournament about three years back, two guys in the same four-some hit aces right after each other on the same hole. It was pretty amazing. It was a contest hole too, so both of them ending up getting new Dell computers.

Same here, close but no cigar.

Saturday my partner hit the pin on the 6th and tapped in to push the team scores, YEA!

Then on 9 my competitors partner hit the flag and tapped in to push the side, BOO!

My heart was in my throat for both shots, they both looked good all the way, very surreal, very enjoyable.

Yes. Some years ago at a municipal (public) course in Allerton, Liverpool.

I was caddying for a senior player drawn against a low handicapper. The LH holed on a par 3 of about 150 yards.

The senior walked up and down for several minutes just staring across at the flag and then promptly walked up, took his shot, 1 bounce and it holed.

After that his opponent, although the 'better' player just fell apart and the senior won the match 3 and 2.

That's freaking sweet!

That's just as good as aces to me.

    • The MTB Prime and Prime X had issues with the cover being too soft and getting cut too easily. They said it was more prevalent in the Prime than the Prime X which I found odd because that was the exact opposite of my experience.
    • Day 120 - Played 18; much better than yesterday. Miss right now is off the heel of the club, so I need to sort that out.
    • Today we played Pease Golf Course in Portsmouth, NH. Course was in great shape but my game didn't show up. I will say I pitched and chipped fairly well but almost everything else was very hit or miss. Cost myself a lot hitting an in play drive with pulling my approach shots maybe 85% of the time. Finally figured out I had been swaying most of the round. Only took me until 13 to figure it out. Used what felt like a much more centered turn and the ballstriking improved. 18 tomorrow using a 2 man scramble format. Just looking to contribute. Been a blast though.
    • Day 22: Hit balls with 7-iron using mevo+ to track dispersion. Was out for a long time after work; 86 balls but the first 50+ were 50% swings focusing on top of backswing feel and then just hitting the ball as a psychic reward. Finished with 20 balls close to full speed. Pretty happy with dispersion and also no horrendous misses. I’m chunking my priority piece out into two separate feels, first and more important is the position/balance at top of backswing which is what I was working on. Once I have that engrained I’ll move to transition part.
    • FWIW I never really had issues with the previous generation of Snells. But… I'm not sure I played them a ton, either.
