Well after playing a r flex for years i have decided i need a stiff. One of the pros at my club had me hit a stiff in the same shaft and same head i have now. He said it looked alot better. The ball was carrying 250 and rolling to 260 the guy said(my normal drives go 230 and maybe 240). Both he and i liked the ballflight and my misses were much tighter. I have decided i am going to reshaft and am going to try a few out. He reccomended that i get a light weight stiff shaft. My question is what are some good lightweigh shafts i can try. Price isnt a huge problem although i dont want to spend 300$ or something(more like 150 maybe a hair more MAX)? I will try the shafts i just dont want to waste the guys time so i want to come up with some shafts i want to try. Thanks

UST shafts come in a 69 gram stiff, and will be under $150. Also check fujikura's site. I know they have several stiff shafts down in the low 60 range.

I definitely 2nd this! I have the stiff 69g UST shaft in my Dymo Str8 Fit (in my sig) and I really love the ball flight overall. I'm seriously thinking about buying the same shaft in x-stiff though. Kind of a long story as to why, but please dont take that to mean that I'm unhappy with the shaft because that definitely isnt the case. Anyway, I'm pretty sure that you can get it for less than $100. $150 at the most.

I've heard similar stuff about the ProForce V2 as well. Also, if you can find this months Golf Digest, they have a review of a few new shafts in there as well.
