I'd like to hear if others have pet peeves as far as their equipment is concerned.

For example, I'm almost OCD about the cleanliness of my clubs. I feel more confident playing if I know my clubs are clean. Plus, when I do trade them in or decide to sell, I definitely believe that increased the value. I have a friend that never cleans his, and he wonders why he sprays the ball everywhere.

Also, I refuse to play a ball with a logo on it. You could give me a 12 free premium balls, but if there is a logo on it - no thanks. I don't want to look down at my ball and see a big bank logo.

That's not

almost OCD, that is OCD. (just kidding with you) lol, mine is I can't stand to hear my clubs rattling while motoring around in the cart so I use headcovers all the time. Nice thing is that they still look great (but sometimes a little dirty) in their third year of use.

I clean mine with a soft, damp cloth, scrape the groves clean, and then windex them to a nice shine. My equipment has to be spotless. Now if I could just get my game to be so spotless I'd be in good shape!

I have to clean every single item i use on every whole. From the putter to the driver. Even if theres not a speck on it. I have to get it in my head that my clubs are going to be ready for the next shot. And i have to put 4 dots on my golf ball ha

I'm definitely CDO about cleaning my clubs, except after practice swings before chipping, where I seem OK with just wiping with my hand then hitting.

I'm also starting to be a bit uptight about "traditional lofts" and so on... and how I want my next PW to be 48° at most. For someone young who took up golf 3 years ago, this is a strange thing to be picky about.

I hate it when I pick my bag up (its a stand bag) and the spring loaded legs grab a hold of my calf. :) Thankfully that is only at the local par 3 that I have to carry and put the thing down repeatedly. Otherwise its safely in the cart of course.
