China is the new Japan. If your old enough you'll remember when people said "that Japan made stuff is junk". China made is prolly not as good as Japan but not all their stuff is a POS. Just my .02 I'm not endorsing their stuff.

Buy the way is Ping US made? I'd really like a nice set of G10's some day and that would be a plus.

Most Ping irons are still US made, but I don't expect that will last forever. And I agree, like it or not, Chinese made golf equipment is solid, and most golf equipment is now Chinese made.

Well I am 30. I remember my transformers were made in Japan and I knew that they were quality. I also remember my first Sony Walkman with a small integrated external speaker was a quality product made in Japan. Ditto for my first car. Though, I remember the first Japanese cars were not very good and rusted horribly.

All I know now is that Japan has developed as a nation to the point where it is too good to make toys, all but the higher-end electronics, and a lot of other things. Their labor must be too expensive for greedy corporations. Anyone remember the movie, Back to the Future - I think the third one? Doc says. "No wonder this circuit failed. It says "Made in Japan". Marty McFly says: "What do you mean, Doc? All the best stuff is made in Japan." lol By the way, my 3 Ping putters (1-A, Anser, A-blade) are made in the USA and I love them.

I haven't had any quality issues outside of a few tiny paint chips that I have already filled in. Why the sudden worry? Trust me, you won't be dissapointed with your choice. It cost you 140 bucks, but it was originally 300, so don't put it off as cheap.

Yes, you are right; I need to golf more and worry less. Playing a great ranked course next weekend with my father. I hope to add to the 30 yards by which I already outdrive him.
