I've been playing ONCE every two weeks due to rain every single day for this whole summer. The days that it is sunny I am busy with work and the courses are still soaked.

It's been way too hot here in Texas. We're in a record drought. They are starting to ration water usage in several counties. I went to the course today and it was completely empty. Not even a soul on the range or practice greens. I was out for 2 hours and think I might have gotten a bit of heat stroke. Apparently everyone else was smarter than me.

Southern Wisconsin - they said on the news this morning - will set a record for the coldest July on record. The old record was recorded in 1891 .... global warming my behind ...

My wife is from Wisconsin, Wausau in the central part of the state, and one of her main reasons for moving down here to NC was the weather. Even though I've lived here all my life, I'm usually the one complaining about the 100º heat. Here usual response is "You don't have to shovel heat off the driveway and roof every 15 minutes."

Yes temps this July have been great, but on south of you has been way to wet this year. Farmers will like it now if they got the crops in in time.

Coldest July on record in Western New York, and probably one of the rainiest ever too. It is a bit of a pain, but I haven't let it slow me down. I've played in the rain a number of times, and I don't think I've played a truly dry course up here this year.

I grew up in San Diego, and lived in Tucson for 3 1/2 years, and I miss both of 'em (especially Tucson) all the time-but I don't miss the drought. The entire southwest has been in historical drought conditions for a while now, with no end in the forseeable future.

I play in Waco a few times a year and it gets pretty unbearable fast come late spring and summer. In Texas you have cold and wind in the winter. Heat, humidity and wind the rest of the year! After living in SoCal for years it is hard to play back there, but I still keep a set of clubs there. SubPar

I live in the North of Holland, our course is a couple of miles away from the sea. Ever had a 3 iron roll back? Thought so.

Honestly though, the weather here is almost hilariously bad sometimes. On these days, competition is about who can break 100.

I'm in Syracuse and can't believe how terrible summer has been, but I shouldn't be so surprised I guess. I've played in the rain, been rained on after teeing off and what not; I'm really sick of it, but I'm afraid of what winter is gonna bring us.

The weather has made it interesting, especially the "water hazards" that appear then are gone the next day.
