Though, in all honesty, I think you should go with something even more forgiving like the MX-200 or the PING G10. I'm a 28 handicapper and I still find it tough to hit my Callaway X-14's at times when my swing is totally headed south, and the 14th are considered SGIs. But maybe that's just me, I'm the most inconsistent golfer around, maybe because I don't play much these days.

A GI or SGI iron can't fix a flawed swing. If you want a players iron go for it. I cannot stand the chunkiness, offset, thick top line, etc of GI irons so I can understand if a noob golfer wants to have something a little more streamline and appealing at address.

That was my opinion. It says nothing about my skill when the club is doing all of the work. My swing isn't flawed per say, it's more so my habit of pulling up that really kills me.

"The club doing all the work" is a bunch of BS, you still need to make a good swing to get a good result with a G.I. club. They just make your misses a little less awful. And you can still tell when and where you mis-hit it, if you have any touch at all.
It sounds like you have talked yourself into a set of blades, so I won't try to talk you out of it, only wish you good luck, with a 35 hcp. and blades.
