I come up too fast which leads to me topping the ball and over shooting the green, or going about 10 ft... Are there any simple drills I can practice?

I also, have a hard time bringing my driver square with the ball I always slice it.

1. Are you talking about chips? If you are, then what you want to try and do is try some bump and run shots. Once you start hitting those comfortably you can start moving the ball further forward in your stance for higher shots.

1. If your talking about irons, then It looks like to me you're pulling up when you hit the ball. This causes the tops with the irons and the slices with the driver. Stay down on the ball. What I mean by this is to try and stay steady throughout the whole swing, and not move up down (with your head, and arms). Another thing that might be happening is you are short-siding yourself at setup. Try and bend over just a little bit more at address, and bend your knees some more. You'll be lower to the ground and feel more stable, and should be able to hit the ball. If your still topping it, then with permission, go to a bunker closest to you. Draw a straight line in the sand with your club. Step up with a club of choice, and have the line be in between your feet, like it would be a ball. Put the club down right behind the back of the line like it's the ball, and swing. The goal is to not hit the line at all, but hit just past the line. Do this until you always hit the same spot, no matter where your ball position is, and which club you have. You're ball striking will become so much better.

2. A quick fix for me is to try and take the driver back and open the face more than usual. What that does for me is it triggers my mind into letting me know the face of the club is open more than usual, and if I keep it that way then it will slice. In turn, I either hit it straight, a little fade, or a little draw even. But my ball is never more than 10 yards off line. Another cause of a slice is coming over the top a bit, or coming across the ball. That gives it the side spin that causes it to slice. If that's the case, then try taking the club back more on the inside (like you're trying to hit something behind you with the club), and through. Hope this helps, and have fun golfing!

Where is your weight during impact? If this is on chipping, try to put 60-70% of your weight on the front foot. Make sure you don't peek. Make sure you see the ground under the ball after impact. A thought that helps for me is focusing on getting the ball as high up on the clubface as possible, but still hit the ball first. To do this I must hit down on the ball and through downwards, brushing the ground behind the ball.
