Ok, I have been playing for quite a few years, and last year decided to try and "fix" my swing, basically starting over from scratch. It is going ok, but one of my biggest habits is that I tend to stand up at impact. I am wondering if there is a drill or something I can do to help this? Not sure if this video will work, Thanks,

It's not much of a stand up, your head doesn't move too much from it's start position. Maybe a little rising up of the shoulders, almost causing a "shrug" of the shoulders. This is exactly one of my problems, but mine is more pronouced. I have just been trying to maintain my spine angle at all costs. You really have to force yourself. I've found that keeping my chin up a little allows my arms/shoulders to swing through freely and I don't feel the need to rise/stand up at impact.

Another thing is the right knee, it straightens out quite a bit at the top of the backswing, another thing that is in my swing as well! Try to keep the back knee flexed throughout the swing, it'll straighten a little but don't let it completely straighten. This helps to maintain your posture/spine angle. Working on this made a huge difference in my game and overall ballstriking (especially with the driver). It was pointed out to me when I was a 14 hcp and I knocked strokes off immediately.

Yup, that has been one of my problems too, I used to really lock that right knee on the back swing. That is something I have been working on. That video is a couple months old, my swing is a little more on plane now, and the rt. knee is a little more bent. But the lifting up I can't figure out. If I really think about it and stay down, I tend to chunk the shot.

If you can feel that the left leg is pushing towards the target on the back-swing it helps generate more torque and will stop you from overturning. It will help you from lifting also.
