The putter is great, but I don't like the threaded grip on it. Don't get any good feel with it. Anyone have tips on a grip I could put on it?

All Winn grips are nice and squidgy but you prefer a slimmer tacky grip, go for the Ping Putter-Man grip. Cheap, and Tiger uses it on his Scotty. They have a larger version for bigger hands too.

Thanks. Searched up Ping Man, a lot of good reviews there. Are the size one-fit-all? Fitting on the diameter of the shaft and length wise?

Scotty has other grips as well, like the Studio Design or Baby-T. These might give you better feel and keep your Scotty "pure".

Definitely agree. The baby t feels awesome in my opinion.

I don't care about the brand, I just want a good grip. The Scotty grip is 5 times the price of the Ping one. Don't need the Scotty putter to be more expensive than necessary.

Anyone tried them and compared the Ping and Scotty?

It cost me $20 to buy a Scotty red baby t grip for my studio stainless ('04 one) newport 2.5 (it had a ping grip on it before) and I can safely say it was just about the best $20 i've ever spent.

Put a 2" extension in it too and it just looks and feels great all around now!

I feel like I rescued my Scotty from its previous owner lol. It looks 10 times nicer now :)

The Baby T grip feels great but if you don't like it the Ping Man grip is a great option.

I was going to order a rubber vice clamp and grip tape anyways, the Ping Man was only £4. I have to order from USA, UK or something, so I don't want the shipping to cost too much. If I can get the Baby-T for $20-30 total, it's fine. The grip itself can't cost over $30, or I'll have to pay 25% VAT and another $15 for the job of taxing it.

Ordered a Pingman Black Out. It's so cheap, can't hurt to try.

Scotty makes grips (red, black and orange) that are very simular to this one.

It's funny.....I have a Red X3 and loved the stock grip on it more than any I'd tried and couldn't imagine another grip. I have the stock red cord grip on my Mid-Slant and currently couldn't imagine a better grip....I guess my tastes have changed. One grip I don't care for are the soft spongy types found on the Yes putters...I think they may be Winn grips.

I swear by the jumbo Winn grip. Every putter I own has/will have that grip. It feels so nice and the larger size prevents me from getting too wristy. Also looks great.

try an iomic grip. great feel and you can get it in pretty much any color you want
