Picked up a dozen today because I wanted to try them and, and I was very pleasantly surprised by how good these balls are! Had excellent feel and spin, and I feel like I could compress them nicely. I don't like to buy expensive balls so I couldn't beat the price at $18 a dozen.

I think that I might have to make these my usual ball and start getting used to them. Are there any other balls in the price range worth looking at or should I make Topflite gamers my gamers? What do you guys think about them?

Top Flite D2 Feel and Gamer are the best value balls.
I think I might prefer the Gamer just a bit more overall, however, I do prefer chipping with the D2 feel.

You can find overruns and logo Gamers even cheaper on the internet.

Haven't tried those 2 but Slazenger's are a great deal when Dick;s runs the 16-packs of feels 3 for $35.00. I still love those balls although my main ball now is the e7+, which isn't the cheapest, but it is an outstanding ball. I almost always resort to the Slazenger's on the water holes though lol.

Hows the durability? I've heard that they scuff up fairly easy. Haven't tried these yet. Their hard to find in my area. Haven't even found one on any courses I've played. I did find a D2 feel the last time out I'm going to try.

I am going to try some Gamers and D2 Feels real soon... I only have 2 dozen Maxfli Fires left and I can't find them anymore (was paying around $10-12 a dozen for those, and they were a fantastic ball). I just can't justify anything over $20 a dozen, and even that is a little high. What can I say, I'm cheap.

I played the D2 Feels for most of last season. They felt great off the clubs, but I couldn't hold a green with them for anything. I tried a dozen Gamers and found the performance similar, but they were less durable. My wedges would somehow shred the cover without putting any spin on the ball.

The Noodle Long & Soft is a great budget ball.

I bought a dozen Gamers yesterday, too....wanted to give 'em another try. They were $21 including tax.

The next step up to me is the Bridgestone E5+...sold for ~$25/dz.

Beyond that I'll look at the NXT Tours for ~$29/dz if they don't have any ProV1 practice balls.

It's hard for me to justify the supreme level balls with my game like it is right now. I love the ProV1's dearly....just not the price.

A good wedge swing will leave you with some curlies to pick off the ball, but nothing to make it unplayable. And, at least it stays white, unlike when you shred a Pro-V and have that ugly yellow staring out at you.

I bought some yesterday, wow I'm impressed for a $20 ball they stick a little less than Prov1x but for the price they do pretty well. I always play ProV's but I think I will start playing these because I can lose one and not feel sick to my stomach.

I was hitting balls 40yds out, and they would land dead maybe a 2-3' roll at most. I was impressed. I have yet to drive or play irons with them yet.

I like the Gamer and do still use it but I bought some Nike Karma's and really like the low compression feel. Lately I've been using the Karma for early morning golf (wet, sometimes cool conditions) and the Gamer for afternoon play. I'm starting to like the Karma's so much though that I am tempted to use them exclusively.

I love how the Gamers play but hate how they wear. I literally pick pieces of the ball out of the grooves of my short irons after hitting into the green. After a few holes, the balls are wasted.

They did not do this with my old irons (MacGregor 1025CM), but my Titleist 755s eat 'em up.

I would rate the LADDIE X over the Noodle. I have been using the e5+ a bit lately since that is what my son plays with in tournaments (16 year old, 5.5 HDCP). The e5+ had the most comparable spin (to a ProV) for a mid range priced ball. I have tried the Gamer, I do like them, might have to get a dozen or so and give them a longer audition.
