why would anybody give you a hard time about your swing? You get the job done.

If you can play like a 3 handicap and swing like Charles Barkely, keep on doing what your doing. ***edit*** your swing really doesn't look anything like barkley's

In my bag:

some golf clubs

a few golf balls

a bag of tee's some already broken the rest soon to be

a snickers wrapper (if you have seen me play, you would know you are not going anywhere for a while)

and an empty bottle of water

awesome. So weird to see you teeing off on 18 - such a recognizable hole that I've only seen on tv - it's like you're on a movie set!

Looking forward to the day when my game is to the point where I can begin to think about playing a course like that respectably.

      Day 51 (yesterday was 50, not 59 -- that was a typo).  I didn't have a ton of time today.  I hit a dozen balls with a 6-iron in my practice room.   Amazingly, after this I did the ShotScope analysis of yesterday's round;  my approach play was at the 5 hcp level.  That's pretty darn good, but unfortunately for my score, some of that came from hitting a few good recovery shots.  But I also hit some really good approach shots that weren't from trouble!

      Shot a 37 today! Palmer Course, PGA National. Really fun. 6/9 GIR, no lost balls. The double and the bogey were both three putts from like 35 feet or so.  The birdie at the last was really fun. I stood over that fifteen footer and thought wow I’m really about to make this, aren’t I? And I hearted it. Really fun. It’s like 9000 degrees outside but I battled through it well. Good times.

      I had been in a bit of a slump for the month of June. Handicap index has slowly risen, and there were few sub-80 scores. Today was a different story at Leslie Park GC. Lots of solid shots, GIR's, up & downs, for a 77 (7.8 differential). As with most rounds, there were a few loose shots and crappy putts, but it was a good day.
