i caught one...

in the leg to be specific.

yesterday on the first hole the guy i was playing with shanked one into my leg from about 10 feet away, he was 175 from pin and hitting a 6 iron full swing. i had no time to even get out of the way. By the time I had a chance to even process what had happened the ball had already hit me and bounced back into the fairway. i always walk so i was walking as usual and it hurt for the first minute or so but i kept playing and finished the round, didnt really feel my leg during the round but when i drove home and wasnt moving it around for about 20 min it stiffened up and I could barely get out of my car haha. The bruise looks like a section of one of those big white jawbreakers, with all the rings of color, mostly reds and blues.

just thought id share this first time experience with you guys, anyone else had this happen to them?

I almost caught one in the melon on saturday I heard the kid hit it and looked up just in time to duck out of the way, he never yelled fore I just looked at him with my hands open like wtf. Gee sorry sir, yell fore next time IF IT'S NOT TO MUCH TROUBLE.

ya i mean it got me in the meaty part of my knee area.. 2 inches right it would have hit my kneecap and that would have been 100x worse.

Its never happened to me but iwatched my brother hit a slice with his 5 wood, we both yelled fore but there wasnt much time. The ball was on him so fast. It hit a guy at the 2nd tee over to the right from the 1st tee's green. Instantly dropped the guy on his back holding his leg. He was pretty P.Oed. By the time he hit the wood and we yelled fore it was right on him. What can you do but say sorry. I wonder what he felt like the next day. He had to have a pretty gnarley bruise.

caught one on the bone on the outside of your ankle.. Lady was on an adjacent hole and it was her drive. Hit me right on the ankle on the fly. Took me down instantly. The lady never yelled fore, either did the guy she was playing with. And to ad insult to injury they were rude and made it seem like I was at fault for being in my own fairway. Needless to say she never even apologized to me. I was only 16 at the time, and my dad wanted to wrap a club around their necks for the way they acted towards me, but I basically told him to be the bigger person. Plus if a fight went down I was one one leg at the time. went to the hospital right from the course for xrays but it didn;t break anything. was on crutched for a few weeks but could have beeen way worse.
