Here is the idea: The Ashes of Golf England (or Uk) versus Australia in a Ryder cup style format. I think it would be huge. I was thinking maybe 8 players a team and could be played around the time of the 3 big Aussie tournies.

My big problem with the Presidents cup is that the international team is contrived it doesn’t have anything that binds the team together as compared to team Europe or team USA. The Ashes of Golf would evoke true passions in both the players and the fans.

Any thoughts?

I came to think of Asia when watching the LPGA Solheim Cup. Being so many top-ranked female players from Korea and Asia, they ought to get some form of cup vs another continent too.

Thats a brilliant idea, you should push it and suggest to a few big name companys, promoters, players.....anyone who will listen.
