Went a few weeks back. Wanted to see if I am using the shafts that fit me best, Loft on the driver, etc... Went through a few hours of hitting balls with drivers and irons. Got some neat looking read-outs, which told me, of all things, that I should be using regular flex shafts? HUH?! Granted I don't have the fastest swing in the world (was clocked at 103 as my average) But regular? The guy that had me said the benefits wouldn't be so much on distance, that I'd actually loose a yard or two, but I'd see the benefits in accuracy. I'm a scratch golfer, accuracy is not my main concern. I think I'll stay with my S300s...

I did get some neat swing footage though. This was one of my better swings...

If you swing 103 mph then you should be using a stiff shaft. I might be wrong and I think I have been once or twice in my life but from all I've learned over the years, 103 is fast enough for a stiff shaft.

I went to the Ping plant out in Phoenix and really had a good time. I went thru the swing tests and they said I needed the white dot over the black I had. Needless to say, I didn't improve my game any that I could see and now I have the Callaway irons which I do love at the moment. Going to those labs are a good thing for us all. It sure can't hurt!

      I wonder if that is why my home course basically have no stakes now.  Not even markers.  It’s completely up to golfers to remember what is OB and hazard and how things used to be marked.     Even in tournaments, there is no marking and certain areas are played differently by different golfers who either don’t know better or use it to their advantage funny reading thru this with courses that actually have markers

      Great post, thanks for the informaiton. I try to avoid adding salt to anything I eat. I tend to add pepper on to my meals as opposed to salt. And I am trying to eat as clean on possible. On golf day, I eat 3 eggs for breakfast (pepper NO salt) and a salad for lunch, with grilled chicken thigs (pepper, garlic, no salt). I have been trying to avoid processed food, but we all slip. I also should have mentioned that the electrolyte packet calls for mixing with 16 oz of water, however I mix in 32 oz of water, so I dilute the electrolyte powder.

      So if I read the news correctly, the PIF will not fund LIV after this season.  LIV is trying to find new funding and a number of players there are now asking about getting back to the Tour.    I am very, very concerned that Taylor Gooch will not have a place where he can make a jackass out of himself soon
