how to clean putter?

I have an odyssey black series #1 and was wondering how to wash it, because i don't want to rust or damage it. I was thinking hot soapy water?

Soap, water, old toothbrush or really anything with soft bristles. If you're worried about rust, just dont leave it submerged in water for a very long time. You'd have to have a lot of deep nicks on it for it to rust.

On my Odyssey White Hot Rossie, every once in a while I'd somehow get a light grass stain on the face insert. OxyClean ended up getting that off, and got the face insert back to white.

Rinse it off....wipe it dry and you are ready to roll the rock.

I clean it after every green with the towel on my bag. Rarely clean it more than that when I get back home, but do it if it's been a wet day where the club and headcover is wet.

I just wipe mine down with a damp rag. If I'm feeling really industrious and OCD, then I might clean a couple of my wedges with windex and then use that rag to wipe down the chrome shafts, but that's pretty rare. As far as cleaning the grips goes, a damp cloth does the trick there too. No soap needed, unless you have new grips that leave those wierd black rubber marks on your hands.
