First drink I've had in several months. I don't like most alcoholic drinks (the taste), and I'm confident enough to order a "girly drink" if I'm in the right mood.

I feel like a knuckle dragger for admitting my penchant for Bud Light Golden Wheat. Had three last night before dinner.

The really did make a great brew with this one.

The last couple of times my wife joined me for a drink at home she had Crown and diet coke.

When we go out she may have a daquiri or margarita and I'll have a Killians, Sapporo or Sam Adams depending on where we dine.

I have taken your lead, and am drinking Vodka club sodas with juice of fresh lime. The Spanish market on my street sells fresh limes 6/$1. So I'm squeezing about half a lime into each cocktail and they taste delicious.

Fresh citrus is the most important secret to good mixed drinks. More important than the quality of the liquor in many cases, IMO. Actually, I think I might have rambled something about this earlier in this thread or in some other drinking thread, but the first time I had a sour made with fresh lemon juice instead of sour mix was like opening a door to a new world of awesome. But tonight it's prob going to be scotch or nothing, haven't made up my mind.

Here I am, thinking about work I should try to get done tonight (yeah it's Friday, but I had to stay home Weds and Thurs to take care of a sick 3-year-old so I don't really get a weekend), but I'll just pop in and check the Sandtrap first. Well its sat morning and the headswizzing around a bit after a few beers last night down the pub .Had a few Vodkas when I got home ,Oh and a bottle of Rioja with the Indian.
