I counted seven shirts that have less logos on it than say a Zach Johnson or Paddy Harrington polo that lists about three or four different sponsors. While I don't disagree that a few are a little over the top (that's saying a lot considering I own about four skull type tee shirts), they offer some really nice and simple golf shirts.

To each his own but to say that the line is lame is a little exaggerated.

See pics of what I believed were nice shirts.

Some of that stuff is kinda cool and some is kinda gay. Its not that its too edgy, some of it is just not something Id be into. Id rather wear (sorry in advance to all you people that are gonna be offended) a baseball hat, white t shirt and gym shorts.

Whatever people wanna wear is fine with me as long as you dont critize me for what I wear. Really, most of the time, the people who are way overdressed with the traditonal golf clothes are just rich guys who try to compensate for a lack of golf skill with ridiculous clothes and expensive clubs.

Yeah, it seems a little too contrived for me. I don't care if someone wears edgy clothing on the golf course as long as it meets the course's dress code. Get a real tattoo if you want. But if you need to buy this stuff to prove you're edgy and a rebel, well, then you're not edgy and a rebel.

That sums it up well. Either be something or don't. I wouldn't wear a padded muscle man body suit underneath my clothes to look stronger than I am, and I wouldn't wear clothes like this to look more "edgy" than I am. That's what this stuff screams to me. All that said I guess it's none of my business what people choose to wear. It's a free country, if you want to look like that go ahead.

The shirts and the design aren't that bad, but the logo is what kills it. I like the whole argile look.....but crossbone skull with clubs is a bit much. I don't think it has anything to do with being "edgy", its focused on the younger generation of golf. Its almost like the bigger, gaudy belt buckles the younger guys are wearing, or the loudmouth pants (those are rediculous). Look who wears it, Mike Perez from Big Break.

I would personally wear some of their stuff if it didn't have the skull logo. One of the big companies should go this "style" route, they would get a lot of new business.

What a bunch of conservative prudes, My god. I wouldn't be caught dead in the knickers and crap some peole wear, but I defend folks rights to wear it. As long as it conforms to the rules (collar and what not) of the course you play at who gives a crap what you wear. I'd guess alot of you wear wife beaters and cut offs to your local munis, but won't own up to it.

So if I don't like these clothes, I must be a conservative prude?

I think it is to each his own. I like some of the things on the site an not so much others. This is true with every clothing line I check out. Under the quick links there is a shots in the ruff link. Three quarters down the page is a tat of a skeleton in knickers with a club and a flag behind him. I have this same tat on my right arm. When I am golfing I could care less what anyone thinks of my clothing. I also could care less what anyone else is wearing. I am there to enjoy myself as they are. I also think that comfort is a part of the game. I am not trying to impress anyone. I am comfortable with who I am and what I wear. Which is usually cargo shorts and a polo. If others don't care for this I really do not care.

I personally like the look of the clothes ... I didn't realize that only "certain graphics or logos" made you a "gentleman" ... I can pull off alof of tattoo clothing and still look like a gentleman...and last i checked just because you look like a gentleman, doesn't mean you are... Being a gentleman is not a look, it's how you act.

I agree. I can't wait to take my cargo wearing ass to the course. The weather is finally starting to break. I appreciate the support on this.

I just wear a under armour type shirt, not a tight one, and jeans/cargo shorts. I don't fell the need to wear a collared shirt, unless the course requires it. Those clothes are a little too "scene/emo/goth" for my taste.. I sure don't see that taking off in golf.

I am always amazed what people will spend money on. $50 plus shipping for a "golf" shirt with a skull and crossbones on it. The irony of trying to look tough while playing golf.. haha

I did bougth this shirt from them http://www.tattoogolf.com/Poly-Argyl...irt-p/p002.htm just for the sake of curiosity, this is probably the less provocative shirt (logo are usually tuck in my pants anyway).. but I found the quality was very good.

I think they are overdoing it a little and most of their stuff are a little too much for me, so they will need to tone down a bit for me to be a returning customer, but they are probably aiming at another kind of customer anyway.

    • I was just thinking about this. 60 majors played in since 2010. 42% of them top 10 finishes. 22% top 5 finishes. My goodness, 9 straight top 10 finishes at the US Open, regarded as the toughest course set up for the Majors. WTH!  That is different than jacked, so no.  No, it doesn't. It is tough to win majors. He is in rare company by winning the career grand slam.  It is much tougher to win majors in the 2010+ years than it was prior.  Look at the most majors list. If you cut it off at 5+ majors. There are 21 golfers ever to have 5+ majors. 17 of them won their first major prior to 1987.  Maybe you could say he should have two more if things go his way. I don't think he should be near 10 or anything like that. 5 is reasonable at this point. He is tied for 15th ever. He probably has like 20 to 28 more competitive major rounds in him.  Maybe in like the short term yes, but he would have gotten used to it in short order. He is a world class athlete in the golfing world. His ability to feel his golf swing is nearly unmatched. To say that him getting a bit bigger in 2014 has impacted him over the next 11 years, without him just figuring it out is really an absurd statement.  Tiger Woods changed his swing like 3x and was elite. He got bigger, not jacked, and was elite.  We are not talking about Olympic weightlifters here, or jacked body-builders. FYI, doing weightlifting through a full range of motion gives you more flexibility. Do you want to know who can get into the deepest squats in the world, people with gigantic legs, the Olympic weightlifters. Want to know who can't get down into a deep squat, lazy people who don't work out.  Could muscle mass as the "extreme" side of things cause some interference in a particular golf motion, sure. Rory isn't even close to being that size.  Yea, it could be mental. Sometimes you just need to get over the hump again even though you have 4 majors in your pocket. You only get 4 chances a year at this. You have to be on your game to have a chance on Sunday. So, for the stars to align for him to have the chances to even learn from his mistakes is not that much. Being T-5, 6 strokes back and not having that pressure on the Sunday is not a learning experience on how to close out a tournament. It makes sense why it could take this long. Also, he is playing against other good golfers. Sometimes, the best golfers in the world get beat. Nope, it isn't. I would agree it was loss of confidence or nerves, plus other golfers just taking it from him than it being related to him working out. I am actually willing to say, it is 0.0000000000000000000000001% related to him working out. So, round that off to ZERO!  Let's not play the victim card here.  He wasn't able to bomb it 330 yards prior to 2014 because he was a kid who still had baby fat on him.  Look at the rolling 10 round average since he started. It looks pretty typical. Lots of ups and downs because you can't be on all the time. Even back in 2014, he never really had a 10 round average were his stroke's gained approach was negative. If you say his size causes him issues, then there should be something crazy here. The dips in 2014 on look the same. Did he have some early year crazy spikes, sure. Sometimes a golfer catches fire for a year. There are things call outliers for a reason.  So, this is probably why you started this. You dislike Rory and want to wish it into existence that he would never win another Master.  Again, you are not the victim here, so stop these self-deprecating comments to try to buy some sympathy.
