Anyone else caught the NBC commentator's comment when Zach was looking at his putt?

"Don't see plumb bobbing much anymore do you?"
"No, you don't"
*In a higher pitched mocking kind of voice*: "Heeeey...look at my shaft"

I thought it was hilarious, not as fun to read of course.

hmmm,not that funny considering i plumb bob my putts

I LOL'ed.

i never understood a plum bob. What do you look at? When i have done it all I see is my damn putter shaft in the way...Seriously what is trick cause I don't know.

I have yet to see someone explain the theory behind plumb bobbing which actually makes sense.

I'm going to plumb bobbing the way Kenny Perry does just to annoy Johnny Miller.

I have yet to see someone explain the theory behind plumb bobbing which actually makes sense.

hold the putter perfectly straight up and down on the dead center of the ball and stand behind the putter close one eye use your dominant eye to look and the side of the putter shaft the hole is on is the way the putt will break.
