I was thinking about buying a wood like a 7,9,or 11 wood. What do you guys think of them. How far do you hit them? Do you like them from the rough as well as the fairway? Do you hit them accurately? Lastly can you hit them from the tee.
Thanks.

When I got back into the game last year I tried a G10-7 wood.

Years back, I gamed a Callaway Heavenwood with decent results.

The 7 wood just didn't work as well for me as a 3 hybrid. The 3 hybrid was more forgiving to me and the ball gets up easier and carries further.

The 3 hybrid was more forgiving from a wider array of lies. Fairway bunkers and hardpan seemed to be just fine lies for it vs. the wood.

Everyone is different, though.
