Based on those numbers, possibly, BUT, why not work to get that speed back!!!

Watch your swing in a mirror, check coil, lag etc . . See a PGA Teacher that can look at you on video, Do whatever you have to do to get your speed back! It makes golf more fun!

Good Luck!

any idea what caused the decrease in speed?

ive tried to slow my swing down to control my drives a bit more and also to help me with my sway! it was about a year ago i was in 100 mph but now my slice is causing havoc on my game so thats why ive slowed my swing down!! But now my stiff shaft is causing problems because of the change in speed so im trying to decide what driver to go for!!

from what you are saying, you might want to go back to the swing you had before. i wouldn't worry as much about changing equipment as i would about getting my clubhead speed back up. i would go back to the basics, grip, setup, etc. i'd actually just start going for a more controlled grip it and rip it attitude. once i did that, i'd focus on making a big shoulder turn, taking the club back on a slight inside path with a low, long takeaway. you want to get the feeling that you are winding your body up like a coil to the top and then start transferring your weight to the left side creating a "lag" which is a huge clubhead speed source. from the top, just let your body unwind and just let it rip. make sure also that you have a fairly light grip pressure. if you are squeezing the club, you will lose considerable distance and speed. let us know how you do.

Your stiff shaft should actually help with control.

    • Imma throw a dart in the dark as no one can tell what is happening once every fourth iron shot per your OP. This might sound counterintuitive but if ball position is too far back in the stance folks are known to throw down clubhead steeply. Could be happening. And yes, @billchaois not wrong; clubhead tends to bottom out wherever your pressure is. So slide forward (not sway), then hit.
    • Day 300 (!): did a stack session.
    • Day 24: Missed my weekly round due to a last minute little league makeup game this morning. Managed to get in some backswing rehearsals while grilling sausages for dinner, and then putted around the office/laundry room after dinner.
    • but I don't understand how that's possible you still want your head to stay back you don't want the upper body coming forward and plus I've tried feeling that and it made my fat shots worse and I then tend to pull and sky all my shots especially with driver because I get in front of it dont need force plates to see i finish on my left side
