What ya got?

My best story this year was probably when a friend of mine hit his tee shot under a tree. He liked the lie and thought he could take a full swing and stop his back swing before he hit the tree limb just over his back shoulder. He hit it really well but took his back swing too far and the club head flew off and we couldn't find it. About a week later, we were playing the same course and we were on the hole parallel to it and I hit my tee shot into the rough. I get up to my ball and their's a club head sitting a couple feet away. I pick it up and look at it and I go "Hey, isn't this the head of your club you broke off last week?" I walk it over to him and sure enough it was his.

Career Bests:

9 Holes--37 @ The Fairways at Arrowhead-Front(+2)

18 Holes--80 @ Carroll Meadows Golf Course(+9)

Home Course:

1) The Fairways at Arrowhead

2) Mayfair Country Club

mines not really to big of a story, but just a little thing that majorly pissed me off..

i started out on the first with no one behind me finished it no problem, then in the middle of the second hole somehow these two guys ended up already on the tee box, talk about playing fast. Alright so i finished second hole, then on third tee box i decided to be nice and just let the speedsters go ahead of. So they come up and i tell them to play on. So they walk up to the tee box, and as a am sitting in my cart right next to them, they procceed to both hit TWO balls each. Like wtf? These wernt provisionals or anything, they just felt like hitting two. It pissed me off very much, i just let them play through and there gonna go and take there good 'ol time to hit two balls? And this continued for the rest of the holes, untill i decided to just re-pass them.

Yesterday I'm golfing at Langdon Farms in Oregon. 7th hole, par 5, creek starts about 1/3 down the fairway on the left hand side, then goes across at a diagonal in front of the green to a small pond. There are 2 walking paths across the creek and 1 CART PATH after the 2 walking paths.

First, I'm by my cart getting a club out of the bag. Another guy in our group is about 10 yds behind me and 20 yds to my right. This 'bozo' shanks one and almost hits me, bouncing it off my cart. Wait... that's not all!

After I move my cart (somehow the ball was underneath), he gets in his own cart and then drives back and starts to go ACROSS THE WALKING PATH IN HIS CART! I try yelling at him as I glanced back and saw it happening, but he put one tire up on the 'railing' and got 1/3 of the way across before the railing (about a foot off the ground) broke and stranded his cart on the bridge! OMG... I piled his stuff into my cart to keep our group going, but the marshall came out after the next hole and kicked him off.

In my :nike:  bag on my :clicgear: cart ...

Playing at 5 Ponds Golf Course in Warminster, PA this August. Joined by 2 Korean gentlemen who don't speak English, but very enthusiastically took their 30plus handicaps to the back tees. Around the 11th hole, I'm replacing my clubs in the back of my cart, and they come tearing up, smash into me with their cart at full speed, almost knocking me out. My head bounced between the 2 carts; really rang my bell. Didn't know whether to laugh or cry, as the kept saying, "We take you to hoppy-tall?"
