I don't know if it's really that impossible. He's an athlet with perfect coordination. I'm old, fat bastard, who manages (granted - 1 out of 100 ) to get some "weird" distances too - last weekend I had 167 to the middle of the green and I fly right over the green with a 6i. It was an estimated 190 shot. That's normally a solid 4i (with some roll ) for me. If you time the swing correctly and have a full body turn with perfect coil - I can see it happen.
More sick is Bubba's 427 yrd drive at International. Granted - it was in Colorado, but still. 400+ is unreal.
