With the clocks rolling back, my golf season is offically over. (i play mostly in the evenings) From now on ill probably only play two or 3 times a month until spring. I acheived a quirky personal milestone this year in that i didnt lose a single ball, and i played the entire season with the same three plastic tees. Im quite proud of this, haha. Anyone else go through a season without a lost ball, or have their own quirky personal milestone?

I lost two balls on one hole last week. Does that count?

No lost balls - very good stuff. I am suprised the ball was still in good enough shape to use. If a ball that survives 36 holes it tends to be in rough shape and I have to retire it.

Well, I did turn it around and come through with a 73 (par 70 course).

I have had several rounds where I am way over par for two or three holes and even/below par for the rest of the round.

Not losing a ball is quite the accomplishment. I think I had a round where I lost 4 or 5.

Oh i havent used the same ball all season..LOL.. Could you imagine? I give up on a ball after 27-36 holes if they're not scuffed up before then.

What if you find more than you loose? I always considered that a plus.

Well done sir.

Actually alot of my rounds are sort of similar. I'll have a strech of 4 to 6 holes where im like +5, but still manage to break 75.

not losing one ball is rather impressive no matter where you play. I am pretty sure if I just hit balls around my living room all season I would lose at least two.

I recently completed my first round ever without losing a ball. I played that same ball another nine holes before eventually losing it on the back. I was going to retire it after the round . . going to have to keep waiting for that milestone :)

I played indoor golf last week and lost a couple balls. They were on wedge shots - they just disappeared. I didn't count them as lost balls. Is that wrong?

golf balls consumed by the turf monster count as lost. But you dont have to find all of the balls in-round. During the summer, I hit one ball into some fescue that i didnt find until a week later. But i still found it - so the milestone remains intact.

but if the ball doesn't want to be found, is it truly lost?

Case in point. If I'm in an unfamilar area, I could presume myself lost. However, chances are the guy standing on the street corner knows exactly where I am.

Unless youre playing some kind of alien ball that knows and feels where it is. And if you are playing that type of ball, you should be in space jail. Because youre probably hitting members of the kimosuahsa from signus 7.

I've played lots of rounds where I didn't lose a single golf ball.
That was when I couldn't hit my woods and driver and just hit a 5 iron of the tee.
But I don't think that counts.

I've played two rounds where I didn't lose a single golf ball and I used my driver off the tee.
Got 47 and 45 points in those rounds.

I also holed out from 120 yards on a par 4 after hitting two balls out of bounds.
I got a 7 XD
