what happened to the days of summer when i could walk on at 4 o'clock and finish 18??? i know we're not supposed to wish for these kinds of things, but i hope oil prices go up again steeply so the government will consider doing away with this nonsense and move to a full time daylight savings schedule to decrease energy costs. its a long shot i know, but for the sake of my golf game i hope it comes true

The AM players are getting a bit more sunshine though. Saturday morning teeing off at 7:30AM it was pretty dark. Sunday morning though the sun was up nicely.

It's a trade off. This time of year as the days continue to shorten you'd have been hard pressed to get in that 18, so the time change simply hastened that inevitability.

That's right Chief. Time to switch from Twilight/Super Twilight rounds, and pay a few extra bucks to tee off in the morning. Maybe even WALK to make up for those extra nickels spent on green fees!

The golf season around here grinds to a halt in another 3-4 weeks, so I dont want to hear anyone whining about not being able to get in a 18 holes in the evening.

If you can flex your schedule and get out of work by 2, that easily leaves enough time for nine holes every day. Along with hitting a bucket of balls at the range during lunch hour is about all you can ask for as a working man.

I teed off at 1pm on Sunday, the first day of "daylight savings time" (I think it should be daylight losing time), and only got 16/18 in . Granted the course was kind of of backed up, but it wasn't that that bad. But the season here is ending in a few weeks anyway so I guess you could just call it quits for the year hahaha.

I used to play twice a week after work because I dont like going on the weekends.... Now I can only play 18 on Saturday afternoons, when the crowds are out in full force....

I cant play during the week either, gets dark too quick, I supposed I could play 9 but they charge the same price for 9 as they do 18....

Oh well, I'll find something to do with my time

Soooo I'm guessing you guys don't want to hear about how it's just kicking into late Spring here, the days are getting warmer and longer and I'm looking forward to getting in plenty of golfing afternoons over the next few months? No? Alright then I'll just be on my way
