She is cute, that is for sure. My boy is three and he can hit a ball about 35 yards with some old cute down clubs.

that's awesome. I got my oldest one of those x-cat junior sets (for 8-11yo) for $50. It includes bag, 3wood, 5 iron, 7 iron, PW, and putter.

In hindsight, I should have just bought an individual kids putter and kids wedge (can get these for like $8 each at Wmart)

My oldest still doesn't have the attention span to stay focused for more than 5 minutes on the putting green (that's all we are doing for now) After 5 minutes, she'll be picking flowers and chasing butterflies.

I'd say, for most kids, by 8yo they have the tolerance, ability, and patience for 9 holes of golf. Until then, it'll most likely be putting and chipping.

Congratulation on the new baby, I found that one of the best thing that you can do for your baby is to read to your baby. It helps them later in life to think much faster, I am not really sure why, but we did this with my first born and he very smart and a quick thinker.

Even at the young this young age, reading to your child is one of the best thing that you can do for your child.

Thanks, I like the reading tip. Plus, I get to read more! As for the sleep...I took over from my wife at 3:00 this morning and have been up since. Crapola...I am trying to play Wente today ($55!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). Didn't want to make my first trip there on only a few hours sleep. Oh well...

I played Wente when they first open with my dad and uncle and the host of the Bay Area golf show "Hook on Golf was playing just behind us, Mitch.

Strange enough, I have had some good round with little sleep or having to use the bathroom.

I had my best round ever at Poplar (an 81). I love that flat, wide course! Lots of short par 4 greens to drive. My favorite is #11. Bombs away!
