The Srixon Trispeed is a soft ball and I just saw them on www.tgw.com for $15/dozen. Marked down from $25/dozen. Just thought I would let you guys know. I love the Srixon Z star above all other balls. I played V1's for years, but the Zstar is a better ball. I like the Srixon soft feel also. But at $15/dozen, I thought I would mention the trispeed.

The Nike One Tour's have great durability for my game.

I like the TaylorMade TP Black too, this is the ball I play when I don't feel like spending the coin on the Nike's. A little firmer(still softer than the Gamer, good spin(a bit less than the Nike One Tour).

The Top Flite Gamer is OK, but the cover isn't very durable. I've put some pretty good scuffs on them just from one full wedge shot. I've never had that happen with the other balls I listed and the TP Blacks aren't that much more expensive.

i find the callaway tour ix, very soft, think its because i just love punching them through the air though, so i'm a little biased and this may not be correct

In my r7 tour bag using my tp red balls,
i use

Srixon Soft Feel... When A Puffs Just Won't Do.

How about you scrape a ball really hard against a tree, and come back with your findings

yea I'm pretty sure a tree scuffs a ball? and you can't beat the Srixon Z-URC balls.

srixon makes great balls period. soft feel, ad333, and trispeed are great for the price. they drop stone dead and at times dance back. i used to the the srixon urs/urc but are the old models. however i stick with srixon, i play the z-star. great ball!!!!! i'm just so amazed to the overall performance of the ball. i have played every ball out there, callaway's tour i's, titleist pro v's, bridgestone's b330's, nike's tour, etc., but i always find myself coming back to srixon. they feel great to me. srixon really has something here. i tell you what though, i'm really curious to hit a few of taylormade's penta tp ball, a 5 piece seems interesting.

      Day 38 (18 Dec 25) - got out in the backyard with grandson this afternoon.  We got into a little game of pitching the ball from about 25yds to a target point just off the asphalt lane behind the backyard.  Goal - just clear it with a quick hop and stop.  Focused on using the wedge swing motion I was talking with the course pro yesterday….smooth and thru just bruising the grass.  In addition to a concentrated focus on technique, it also called for a quiet mind locked in on target point.  Rehearsed this with both the 50° and 55° wedges.

      I listened to the Shaun Webb one about the swing coach app. Sounds like a great thing and will (hopefully) be very useful for me. I do think the hosts are underestimating where AI could be in a few years. Right now it's just regurgitating stuff that it has been told or it has scrubbed from somewhere else and a human guiding things will be quite a lot more helpful than just the AI, but it's going to keep developing and it will reach the stage where it's figuring this stuff out on its own. Time will come when it will have you do a TPI style screen and take various height/arm length/leg length etc. measurements, have you tell it some history and your time constraints and goals and what not and it will watch a video of your swing face on and DTL and it will know exactly what you need to work on.
