It hasn't quit raining in over a month here in western washington, but I'm takin my weak game out today. I can only stand going to the range so many times.
anybody else going out in the foul weather today?

Having the opposite problem. I'm itching to play and it's a beatiful sunny Saturday here in So Cal. But I know the post holiday crowds will be too much to deal with so stuck at home same as if it were raining.

Beautiful, sunny 50ish day here, but its very windy. Might go to the range later, but wait untill tomorrow for the course. The sun and wind today will give the course a chance to dry out a bit.

I feel your pain buddy; I'm not too far away, on Vancouver Island, and we have had a ton of rain in November. I have managed to get in six rounds of nine this month, but a few have been with all the rain gear out. Can't play today; coaching my son's hockey today.

Hope your round went well. The rain has held off here today, so hopefully you stayed dry too.

Meh....Enjoy it while you can, very few of the courses here in Spokane are still open, most are closed up for the winter....We will have the "snow that sticks all winter" in the next few weeks then no range, no golf whatsoever until March or so......Unless you wish to drive west or down to Tri-Cities...

I have to say, we are quite lucky here weather-wise in Southern California. Played a little bit this morning and it was cool out and I was wearing my golf pants and a long-sleeved shirt, then went to the driving range tonight and it started to rain :( for about 5 seconds....

So-cal, manoman...
I got 18 in, no rain, but it was pretty muddy. The wind blew pretty good on the back nine, and all in all it was really fun. Sure was hard to loosen up, but i got it together and shot 103.

Planning on going out in a few hours today as well. The weather is forcast to be unseasonably warm today, close to 60, here in the mid-state. It was sunny and crazy windy yesterday, so hopefully everything has dried out. I don't expect many days like this are left in this year.

    • Flying into ATL on Sept 11 (Thu), early, leaving Sept 15 (Mon), late. Dates are fixed. Trying to hit the best RTJ Trail stops without spending half the trip in the car.   Plan: Thu: Grand National (Lake or Links) Fri: GN AM, then drive to Capitol Hill, play Senator Sat: Capitol Hill – Judge Sun: Ross Bridge Mon: Oxmoor Ridge early, drive to ATL   Thinking about squeezing in Cambrian Ridge after Capitol Hill—worth it or too much? Would love any feedback or tips from those who’ve done it.
    • Day 73 (13 Jul 25) (note: forgot to post the "day" for the past few days, up to day 73) - Easy day in the backyard, with time on the 50deg wedge and the mat (simulating tight lies around the green) working on low spinners.  Love using this mat as it is small and portable but also lends to being a type of alignment rod to get a proper setup.  Finished up with a few swings with the 54.
    • Congrats on the new leg of your journey - the challenge of learning something new while dealing with Parkinson’s is totally awesome.
    • Played several holes today with my Buddy's left haded clubs.  I was going to order just woods, but after playing again today and hitting the irons well, I will be ordering a complet set of Left handed Clubs.    They are Callaway Edge, Regular flex.  I am excited !  Will let you know after I try them and let you know how well they performed.    Retired Old Man, Terry
    • Depends in part on what lie the greens crew left me. If it's first cut of rough or fairway and clear shot to cup, it's an 8i chip and run. If it's shaggy, or I have to go over ridge or bunker, it's a cut shot with a 58* LW.
