I'm not sure if this has been asked already, but it would be kinda cool if us forum members arranged a gathering to go play some golf Obviously we couldn't do a nation-wide thing, but perhaps interstate gatherings could work. Seems like we all are grouped in certain areas.

What do you guys think...no money has to be involved... haha The wintry months would give us time to plan, etc. Would be fun.

I remember there was a guy about 30-40 minutes drive from me, but he doesn't seem to be around anymore. Shame, because he recommended a course to try and I played/loved it, so I could have come to have a social round with him. I don't think there are many people in the UK/GB at all, so I guess this is a strictly Yank ordeal if it happens

Ireland is on my 'places I have to see' list and is quickly becoming short listed. I figure it will be the next major trip that is taken after we get the kids to one of the Disney theme parks.

I'd say a course midway between DFW and Houston would be ideal.
Here are some course suggestions:

www.pinedunes.com affordable and would get my vote.
