Just wondering where I can get a big mirror, (cheap, plastic) so I can look at different points in my swing.

I dont know where to get something like this. Anyone have a mirror this big? Where did you get it?

Thanks

Jim

Not so much the "where" answer but I'm glad you are getting one. This is an INVALUABLE item for golfers. Everyone should have one and use it DAILY. I can't remember the last time I was at my home and missed a day of mirror work!

The "FREE" section on craigslist.com, serch mirrors, alot of people just want them out of their house. I've seen sliding mirror doors, full walls of mirror and even gyms and gymnastics or dance studios getting rid of them. You just got to pick them up. hope this helps

Also see if there is a place near you that sells recycled building materials. Sometimes Habitat for Humanity has a store where they sell off materials they can't use. The mirror closet doors work pretty well.

Just a suggestion but you may want to think about looking into buying a "Flip" video camera. They can be had for around $100 and I believe the frame rate is 60fps. This is excellent for breaking down the parts of the swing as the program that comes with it allows you to advance the video frame by frame. You can pull a "snapshot" right out of the video as well. They have an HD version available now too. They only hold between 1 and 2 hours of video if I remember correctly, but they have a usb attached to them to hook directly up to a computer or laptop, as well as a video out to go straight to a tv. My fiance bought me one, I love to use it to analyze my swing and it is even fast enough to look at how much wrinkle is in the sidewall of slicks at the drag race strip (my father and I drag race). If this isn't your thing, I agree with looking on craigslist. Good luck!

    • I have fought shoulder issues and seem to now have a pull/baby fade going on.  Not a great video, but are these numbers ok or should i try to get in to out.  I've realized this winter my concept of in to out was wrong in that what felt in to out was actually just the face being open to get it right.  The first one was rushed the second one is more typical.  Minor pull or if the numbers line up baby fade back to target.

    • I suppose Rory will indulge in a bit of guilty pleasure giving Bryson some of his own medicine. Saw a piece of Rory's interview on some documentary about last year's Masters where BDC was still trying to game/mess with him long after he had stopped being a factor. At least that was Rory's perspective. Dude's a huntn dog and a storyteller. I'm going to enjoy this one knowing the end even more so than last year. And yeah, I know it's only half way through but Im early celebrating this one.
