This gives me hope, maybe I can leverage this with my wife. "Honey, I really want to improve my golf game, so we must have sex every night this winter so my game will be sharp in the spring!" I'm doomed to suck at golf the rest of my life.

I think it would work better if you just explained that practice makes perfect...and I ain't talkin' golf here.

I must admit, tiger has probably scored some major man-points with his freewheeling with the womens. But lost the same amount of man points when his wife caught him.

If youre Tiger Woods and you got some side hunnies or whatever - WHY ARE YOU CALLING THEM?? You have your agent or assistant or somebody do that. Why did these women have even his number??? I know if i got a phone with numbers and calls from other women on it, i got that sh*t locked up in a vault. Gaurded by two scary italian guys with uzi's... He is sponsored by AT&T-; he could have had all the phone numbers he wanted! If im tiger here, then my wife never finds that phone and goes through it. My course management is superior to tiger in this regard.

He hasnt gained more fandom from me because of those concrete facts.

Great observation!!!!

He may be a pro golfer but an amatuer playa. Cuzz needs to sharpen his game a tad.

From what I've read he was much better on the course than in the sack. What a stupid, stupid human being, his father would be proud.

I was never a Tiger Fan. All of that time spent in the gym and practice tee to achieve perfection was compulsive and not fan making criteria. But NOW with a trail of women with equally perfect performance makes me envy and now I am a fan. When you are good because you work hard is one thing but when you are naturally good then that is something to be proud of.

I couldn't disagree with you more. People with "natural talent" are lucky. But they really had nothing to do with it, nothing to be "proud of". Anyone that gains their expertise in anything by hard work and determination is to be admired and they have plenty to be proud of.

Tiger has obviously worked hard on his game, but he has put zero effort in my opinion into his marriage. I could make a strong argument that he never really got past the "honeymoon” phase of his marriage before he started fooling around. I now have zero respect for him on a personal level. In every marriage there is gonna be rough spots, so apparently when the going got rough, Tiger went to another playground. He might be a mental giant on the golf course, but he is a midget in personal issues. It takes no mental strength to give in to your desires. Don't get me wrong, I am no a Tiger hater. I look forward to his return to golf, but if I was a sponsor I would touch him. Nike will stay, but I hope the rest walk.

Some people will probably become Tiger fans because they now see him as more human. Before, he seemed so perfect, which made it easy for people to dislike him. Now, with having all these extra marital activities, it makes him more on a level like the rest of us.

I don't think Tiger ever fell... he still #1 WGR, and last I checked he is still on top of the golf world. Duval on the other hand... still has a long way to go to get to the top. Personally I root for the guy who lost his game and is trying to play his best again and be the best (or good) again. I don't root for some jackass who is the greatest golfer in the world, but is lacking a proper moral compass and manages his social life like an immature high school kid. Duval seems like a good guy, and I hope he does well, Tiger has done good things (his foundation, and other things) but has some work to do for me to want him to do well.

I never liked the way he carried himself with the tantrums, swearing, and what-not... now I think he is even more of a jerk (at least in some ways)... and while I do enjoy watching him... the next major I might be hoping for him to get beat again. Of course it is possible that he will see the error in his ways... if so, great... then maybe I'll be a mild Tiger fan as I once was.

I wonder if the recent tantrums were a result of stuff happening off the course? I sure don't remember Tiger acting like that years ago (??), and I'm a big believer that the golf game is a mirror into one's soul.

I'm not sure this is the principle Tiger is applying, try every else but your wife

But I am the anti-Tiger, not young, not rich, not in shape, not a good golfer, so that really narrows the field. If all Tiger can get is a Denny's waitress what are my chances, maybe a Waffle House waitress!

I was always a Tiger fan. Ever since he was a little kid his amazing talent and more importantly his will to refine that talent to achieve perfection was the stuff that made me a fan. But NOW the evidence of the double life he leads fill me with nothing but loathing for the behavior that has exposed his true self. Never again will I look at him the same. He isn't simply a cad, something I could more easily forgive, rather I believe him to be a sociopath. His behavior is so far beyond the pale as to beggar belief? How can anyone with any form of morality square this behavior? You can't...

Although I condone infidelity, my opinion for Tiger hasn't decreased for him as a Golfer.

The public and media always elevate these athletes to such a level that the only place to go is down. You can't hate a guy, for being a guy. If anything, its shows him to be more human and down to earth then the media ever shown. Outside of golf, he is no different then you or I. Before you attack Tiger, truly ask yourself what type of lifestyle you would live if you were famous, a billionaire, and young enough to enjoy it.

I love my wife very much, but to say with absolute certainty that I could handle everything that Tiger earned and was given without straying off course is wishful thinking. Perhaps I would not have went as extreme as Tiger, but then again I am sure my High school and University years were much more "satisfying" then Tigers.

It's just unfortunate that he got married, when he obviously wasn't ready to do so. Who knows, behind closed doors he may have been pressured to get married to bolster his image or garner new sponsors.

This is why I've always admired John Daly. To win through skill, hard work and determination like Tiger is one thing... but for a man like John Daly to win just once without the hard work, now that's class!

You are exactly right!

Hmmm, I'm thinking back to late 1990s where a certain President was revealed to have been the recipient of blow jobs in the oval office from an employee. He lied about it to the people, lied again under oath to a judge. We had hundreds of Media people write about how it was his personal life so no big deal. I guess if Tiger were more of a vocal liberal/progressive the media would give him a pass too.

Ohh wait a minute, you said with any form of morality, that leaves out the Media folks.

It ain't bragging if you can do it.
