wedge weights?

I know that vokeys are a heavier wedge, and that callaways are on the lighter side. Are mizuno's heavier too? And what are the advantages of a heavier club? Thanks

Heavier wedges (meaning higher swing weights) give you more control over the wedge. However, you lose some distance. I'd take more control over my wedges than distance, and most golfers like this trade-off as well, especially in the shorter clubs.

Mizunos are a little lighter i believe.

I like the feel that I get from a heavier wedge. I tend to have more control as well, both directional and distance. My wedges get progressively heaver as the loft increases. 3-9 is D2, PW D3, GW D4, SW D5, LW D6.
