If you are trying to sell your clubs, you should post them on this site's marketplace and eBay. Many companies buy clubs from you, but you will NOT get anywhere near as much money.

If you are looking to buy used clubs, you should still look at this sites marketplace and eBay, just make sure you are buying from a reputable person. Golfsmith's website sells used. You may also want to try 3ballgolf website and many others. 3ballsgolf and other companies like that actually started on eBay and expanded in to their own sites, so all there items will also be on eBay. There is also some other not so cool golf forum that has a marketplace.

Another avenue is Craig's list. It requires you meeting unknown people but I think people will pay decently when they can see what they are getting upfront. I do mostly ebay. It's easy and I've done quite well.

No! Pick one. Both this site's marketplace and eBay are great choices. But it's a violation of the marketplace rules to put a link to the eBay auction.

Granted I am new to the site, but I read it as you can't link to your eBay listing, not that you couldn't have it. Am I playing with words here, or is it OK to have both as long as there is no linkage?

Yea, you should defineatley not post your ebay listing link in your marketplace listing.

Rule 10 from

the rules page : Do not post a link to your eBay auction or list items that are available on other sites. The point of having a Marketplace is to benefit both the seller and buyer with not having to use eBay. So... don't link to it. And eBay's rules, I'm pretty sure, are they you can't withdraw the lot from eBay once it's listed and until it ends. So, if it's on eBay, you can't try to sell it here, because if you succeed, you'd have to withdraw the lot.

I am a huge fan of using Ebay for clubs. I have saved myself alot of money using it. Tho i hate the selling fees that goes with selling clubs on there, buying them is great. Alot of people will say watch out for fakes and all that but its really easy to spot a fake. You normally know what your getting just by checking the sellers information and feedback. I have purchased clubs on Ebay and then resold them and made money doing it. Now for seeling them on Ebay set the lowest bid price at the lowest amount you would take for them and hopefully they get bid on and it increases. One mistake alot of people make is they will post a set of irons for 1$ thinking they will recieve alot of bids and they will be good. It doesnt always work like that. Set them at what you would want at the least and if they dont sell in the amount of days you have them listed for you can relist them again. Sometimes theres a small fee and sometimes they let you relist them for free. I do NOT recommend using Craigslist. Tho they have been getting better lately, theres no feedback and nothing you can look into about the person selling them. Alot of people get robbed on Craigslist including people i know. I would never use that site to buy or sell anything. If your looking for a job thats one thing but buying and selling is not a good thing to do on there site. Hope this post has helped you and goo luck on selling them clubs. I have never used the Market place on here so i cant give you any feedback on how good it is.

I'm going to give you a little advice. There's a force in the universe that makes things happen. And all you have to do is get in touch with it, stop thinking, let things happen, and be the ball.

I like ebay for selling but I never buy anything there. The counterfeits out number the real stuff two to one in many sections and golf clubs are no exception. Here is as good a place as any to start selling.

Actually, you can withdraw anything listed on Ebay prior to the end of the auction.

Ive sold 12 sets of irons on ebay over the past few years, never had a problem. Craigslist is a good alternative.... but you get alot of jerk offs emailing you a dozen times looking for you to drop the price.

Yet you still had them today. LOL
