Precept balls??

Does anyone play or have played Precept Laddie balls? If so, what did you think of them? Also would they be a good ball for a high capper?

Excellent ball for high hanicapper. Soft and long, low spin. Only drawback is tough to stop on the green because of that low spin. Also one of the cheapest balls around. I've used them the last two seasons.

I like them, very long in my experience, actually missed some greens off the back when I used them. Decent feeling off short irons, putted nice, didn't notice any less spin then other inexpensive distance balls. I'll definitely play them again this summer.

Im currently using the Laddie-X. Its a decent ball for the money. They are a low-spin ball, which is perfect for a high handicapper because they will minimize sidespin. However, they also wont give you a lot of backspin, so they wont hold the greens as well as some softer balls.
Still, for a high handicapper who still loses balls from time to time, they are a great option because they are a quality ball that performs well and they only cost $20 for 2 dozen.

they are a good,cheap ball for any skill level. they don't spin much around the greens but feel great off irons and woods. i found i got some decent spin off iron/full wedges

I took some EV extra spins out for a round, and the dang things went way too far. I had 137 to the pin on the first hole, so I pulled out my PW, took a fairly easy swing, and promptly hit it all the way over the green. The whole day, same thing. I finally pulled out a ProV1 and made a birdie on the first hole I used it on! Bottom line, try them out before you take them out!

Yup! Long and low spin. And because it is low spin, I only use them during casual rounds when I don't have anything on the line. If I am playing with my buddies with $ on the line, I will only play Pro V1, Pro V1x or similar balls. In tournaments, I only play Pro V1x.

Very nice performance and the ball feels good off the putter. They represent a great bargain, too.

These are incredible balls. Best value in golf at two dozen for $19.99. They have been selling at this price for sometime. Order online from Edwin Watts or The Golf Warehouse. Long and soft, just a wonderful golf ball for the price. Can't beat them. Been using them for years. Way back when, Precept Lady balls got popular with the gents. Precept got smart and rebadged the ball as the "Laddie" to appeal to men who would not buy a "lady" ball. The rest is history.

You can buy them at Target or Wal-Mart for something like $18.50 and you dont have to pay another $10 for shipping. No sense buying them online and paying for shipping when you can buy them locally for less and not pay shipping.
