Just wondering if anyone here is planning to attend the PGA at Whistling Straits in August? I am certainly hoping to make it for at least a day or 2 early in the week.

I'm hoping to get there. I went to the final round in 2004 and had a blast. One of our vendors bought our tickets, put us up for the night, fed us and gave us $75 to spend, but it doesn't look like thats going to happen this year. I keep telling my boss, since we manufacture the number 1 tee and cleat used on tour that we should have some representation there and I would be willing to donate my valuable time for the benefit of the company:) Either way I'm going to try and get there.

I might attend if there is nothing much going on that weekend. Kohler is only a short drive.

Not this year. The PGA will be at Atlanta Athletic Club next year, which is less than 20 miles from where I live. I'll go then.

Only on thr beach.. The water in the bottom of northern Lake Michigan can still be in the 50's in August. Get the right wind to blow that up toward the eastern shore of Wisconsin, and yeah, lakeside can feel like October, and it will be 20-30 degrees warmer a mile inland.

Nah, it should be 50 degrees by then. Thats a tropical heatwave by our standards.
