Anybody else out there listen to the Derek Trucks Band? First saw this guy with Clapton about three years ago, he blew me away... I had never seen anybody play slide guitar like that... Downloaded his albums from iTunes and can't stop listening to him... His work with the Allman Brothers is freaking amazing as well, there is a video on YouTube of them playing "Dreams" at the Beacon Theater that is off the hook...

DTB is awesome! When I first saw him he was like 13 in '92 w/ the ABB in Sarasota, FL. Kid ripped it up. Didn't think much about him till maybe 10 years later and I picked up Joyful Noise and have been hooked since. There's a video of the '02 or '03 Jammies in NYC and he's on stage with Robert Randolph & the Fam Band & John Mayer. DT holds his own and Jams, but JM couldn't keep up.......it's pretty funny.
I've spent most of my life golfing - the rest I've just wasted.

You can download their live performances on what is known as "The Archive". Here is a link to all the Derek Truck Band shows on the Live Music Archive. I have downloaded hundreds of shows with never a problem.

I had never heard of them before this, just downloaded some of their songs on limewire, pretty good stuff, guys voice sounds a bit like dave matthews. I try to keep my options open when it comes to music, mostly country and classic rock but ill give anybody a listen.

I've seen the Allman Brothers a couple times and have some DVDs, Derek Trucks is just flat out amazing! I haven't listened to much Derek Trucks Band but I will definitly check out that link now.

      I'll say again… you have a different definition of "temporary" and "speed" than I do. For your handicap to go up FOUR shots means you were through the soft cap and approaching the hard cap. If you did it over 15 rounds (leaving five potentially lower scores), then you played REALLY bad golf over that stretch because it's likely that only three or four of the best of those 15 rounds were actually counted, so if the three or four best scores RAISED your handicap five shots (three at 100%, 2 at 50% once you hit the soft cap), then that's some BAD golf over an extended (not temporary) period of time. And here's the thing… play 15 good rounds, or even just EIGHT, and it'll DROP again, even faster. Handicaps still drop faster than they rise, not only because of the way we calculate it (best 😎 but because of the caps. Right… it's not like you're not needing the shots. You're playing really badly, and your handicap is still lagging behind your play.
