i really like the look of those cobra MB irons. i may have to check into those.

Nice thread. Goes to show that it's the archer, not the arrow. The top players can switch sponsors and irons (see Woods--used to play titleist, Ogilvy--used to play cobra, Mickelson--used to play Yonex), but their rankings stay the same.

At that level (pro players) i agree it´s the archer not the arrow.

I believe pros look for a clubhead that they feel confortable with, and then they really focus on the shaft. They can switch main sponsors and while keeping the same shaft, it shouldn´t take long to them to get used to the new sticks.

I like those X-Protos - they remind me of my mid-90s Hogan Apexes - but less shiny.
