I am using the 907 d2 10.5 Diamana Blue 65 Stiff a few months now, since I asked the pro at the shop to sell me a driver that would alow me to work the ball. I used a Taylor Made Burner before, very easy to hit a straight middle of the fairway 210-220 yds shot with, but it was hard to fade or draw.

After switching to the 907 d2 distance improved maybe 15 yds in average, but more important I could hit fades and draws when I wanted.

Later I bought the 909 F2 3W and now I am thinking fo replacing the 907 d2 with a 909 d2, hoping for a carry of 250+ and keeping the workabillity.

Any thoughts !

You should consider the 909D3, it is a better version of the 907D2. 440cc, mid launch, with low spin. I went from the 907D2 to the 909D3, and couldn't be happier.

The 909D3 is not a better version of the 907D2. The 909D2 is the better version of the 907D2 - the 909D3 is a better version of the 907D4 that Titleist never released.

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

i have the 907 D2 and have no issues working the ball...although I dont do it a lot, when its called for its there
i think you should consider a different shaft
the stock Diamana Blue that come in the D2's are junk IMO

it took me a few shafts to figure it out, but the one i have now is awesome

    • Our home course would be very interesting.  It is short from the black tees (around 6000 yards) and very few holes are considered not reachable in GIR for golfers who drive max 250 off the tee.  But there are two difficulties.  Only 3 holes don't have an OB though admittedly in some cases it is just behind the green.  The harder part is almost all the fairways slope away on both sides from the centre meaning if you hit a draw or fade, you are likely to wind up at the edge of the fairway or off into the rough if you bounce in the wrong place.
    • I assume the 3 iron in your iron set would do the job.  If you don't have the club, you should be able to buy it as a single club
    • Day 45 (16 Jun 24) -  Happy Father's Day all - got in a few swings with the clubs, focused on alignment for chipping and pitching.  For me if the target it 12noon, I need to have my feet somewhere around 11 for a solid dead on line pitch/chip.  Worked from about 5yds out to 25yds.  Worked through a series of clubs - 54, PW, 8i and 6i - noting flight patterns of each.
