grassyass..so i guess my real question is, is the revisions made in y'alls opinion worth the extra money.

I doubt it. I'm sure it performs a little differently, but probably not much.

Probably not much, unless one of the 2010 tweaks really helps your game.

The difference between Callaway X20s and X22s was about 2 yards, and $300+. (Bought a slightly used X20 set, lost 2 yards and saved money.)

Focus, connect and follow through!

I am not sure about the difference between the AP1s but the only difference between my 2009 AP2s and the 2010 AP2s is feel. The 2010 AP2 has a little bit softer feel than the 2009. I like the feel of the 2009 better because I get better feed back on where I hit the ball. I am sure you could pick up the 09 AP1 for a lot less than the 2010 AP1.

I just demoed the 2009 and 2010 side by side. The 2009 AP1 was smoother than my horrible irons i have now but nothing compated to the 2010. The feel of the 2009 felt amaaaaazzzzing until i hit one ball with the 2010's and it was butter! So smooth and have amazing feel. As for the ap2 i hit the 2009 version and i wasn't a fan. All my shots felt think and clicky. I just like the feel of the Ap1 better. Trajectory of both clubs was pretty much identical. I didn't try the 2010 ap2 but i don't think anything could get better than the 2010 ap2!

For Some reason the edit post thing isn't working for me.. the last line is suppose to say "I didn't try the 2010 ap2 but i don't think anything could get better than the 2010 ap1 (not ap2)"

yeah thats what i figured.. sooo besides the better feel, not to much has changed, well besides the dual cavity on the 10's.
