Latest TABLOID RUMORS (People) are that Elin is on the way out for good. Word is she was disgusted by his commercial with his dad. She was mad he returned to golf so quickly. She is over it.

Maybe why his attitude seemed to change mid Masters. I think he is moving on. One of those sc*ew you all I am getting back to golf. If I curse on the course some so be it!

A few days back home to (re-evaluate) and bam he is back on tour in a flash!

I agree. If the rumors are true, and Elin is leaving him, why not play golf? Finally, if they do get divorced, whats to stop Tiger from playing 19 holes again.

I'll be watching the TV, as usual. Don't really care about Elin and all his non-golf related matters, just want to see him play.

Makes sense that he wants to play more before next major, he clearly need to sort some stuff out. I'm not surprised if he actually plays well during practice, but is unable to transfer it to the course.

Me either. Granted, ill feel bad for the guy and the mess that he created out of his private life, but im more interested in him as a golfer.

What else is he going to do? All he knows is golf (aside from his past "mistakes in judgement"). Should he just sit alone in his big house, or ride around the Caribbean in his yacht?

I imagine he wants to get his swing worked out under tournament pressure before the US Open.

I don't think it's idiotic for a wife to want their husband, who just cheated on her with 15(?) other women, to stay in the house. That said it doesn't matter now that they are nearly divorced. It will be good to see him play again.

Also, because he is playing Quail Hollow, I would expect to see him at the Players.

Don't get me wrong. I agree. He probably should have gone that route anyway. He went too far IMHO trying to "save" his image.

Seems like he WAS the man he wanted to be all along. Then he got caught. And, from what I've heard, she's been gone for awhile. She's just waiting for the million dollar checks to arrive.

Well, I agree that it is good to see Tiger is back playing golf again and seems like he won't be skipping the tournaments that he usually played. In my opinion, if he can't work it out with Elin, then he should be playing golf and move on. However, I also don't think that Elin deserves to be called an idiot or a greedy woman. She is the biggest victim of this scandal. Tiger was selfish to cheat on her, then it is not that unreasonable if she asks Tiger to sacrifice golf for the time being and try to save their marriages. As a golf fan, I love to see Tiger coming back and playing golf, and the Masters wouldn't be as good last week without Tiger, but we shouldn't blame Elin also.

      Yes, this is the 2024 model. DSG ruined what Callaway perfected for most golfers. A darn good 3 piece golf ball. Now it's a 2 piece cheap ball. To me a 2 piece ball is fine and a 3 piece budget ball is better. I prefer a slightly harder ball, something in the 65-75 compression range that will perform similar to the old Gamer. The Titleist tru-feel is pretty good. I planned on giving Maxfli straightfli a try.

      Is that the current generation Gamer? Another old standby for a firm and inexpensive ball is Pinnacle.  There are two models, the Rush and the Soft, but I don’t know what compression they are.

      Good advice, but according to DSG website it is a 45 compression ball. My current ball is the Top-flite Gamer at 70. 45 is too low for me to go.

      The 3 piece Maxfli Trifli is 2 dozen for $35.  The Trifli does not feel as soft as the Maxfli Softfli, which is why I like it. Other options would be one of the Srixons, which have a buy 2 get 1 free offer.

      I have been carrying a 7 wood more often this year.  It’s especially handy if you have a downhill lie to an uphill green.  It’s also handy if the rough on the course is deep.
