Is this the right way to hit a fade?

I normally hit a draw, if the wind is going to the left or I need to get the ball to land softer is this the right way to hit a fade?

I aim left of the target and then swing out to in (a lot), is there a more precise way to hit a fade?

Align your body left, if you swing in-to-out, a little more left. Aim the clubface halfway between your swing path and target line, use your normal swing.

I am a huge fan of the push fade. I like to aim left, then concentrate of making the club a bit more upright in the my backswing. THen i try to hold onto the club through impace. I will not let my right elbow break down, keeping the face open longer. This produces a nice push fade that gets a ton of distance.

The push fade will have more distance. That's how alot of pro's play their fade.

For the average player though, I think the idea of opening up the stance and swinging along that line works better. Keep in mind you don't want to aim the clubface at the target as Zeph said, you need to aim it at a point somewhere between where you're aiming(after you adjusted) and the flag(or whatever you're hitting to). You'll just have to experiment a little.
